JSC "Satellite system "GONETS" took an active part in facilitating the third in the history launch from Vostochny kosmodrom, where on Feb, 1 at 05:07:18 MSK was successfully launched a carrier rocket (CR) "Soyuz-2.1 a" with the spacecraft remote sensing of the Earth "Canopus-B" №№3, 4, and nine foreign small satellites.

During startup, the means of multifunctional space system relay MSRS "Loutch" (the operator JSC "Satellite system "GONETS") from the third stage of the launch vehicle with the installed high speed subscriber equipment relay transmitted to the Ground telemetry data. For these purposes, the used channels of the spacecraft "Luch-5A", pretranslatemessage information from the Board of the "Union" ground station "Maple-P", located on the EASTERN spaceport.

A separate task for the specialists was to ensure the launch site, mobile Internet access, which was used by the people who attended the launch and media representatives. For this purpose, the specialists of JSC "Satellite system "Messenger" on the EAST were deployed mobile earth station of satellite communication (ES-L) MXR Luch provided by the reference channel Wi-Fi network used for Internet access. To solve the problem involved the channels of the satellite-relay "Luch-5B".

Successful information and technical support of the launch of LV "Soyuz-2.1 a" from Baikonur EAST once again demonstrates the great potential MXR "Beam" on the solution of complex tasks to ensure relay data and provide redundant channels of communication and access to the Internet at spaceports and other strategic sites at any point.

MXR "Luch" is intended for communications with manned and unmanned low-orbit space vehicles moving out of radio visibility ranges from territory of Russia, including the Russian segment of the ISS. Its functions include receiving and transmitting signals from transmitters in the international satellite system for search and rescue COSPAS-SARSAT, the collection and transmission of data from stations of Roshydromet, relay signals to consumers of the GLONASS navigation system, conduct videoconferences and teleconferences between the peripheral mobile stations and telecentres.
