JSC "Satellite system "Messenger" took part in "KEF-2014", held in Krasnoyarsk from 27 February to 1 March, which is between the Government of the Krasnoyarsk territory and the company concluded a cooperation agreement. The company was presented in the joint exhibition of the Krasnoyarsk region Government on the stand of the Ministry of Informatization and communications.
The agreement was the result of a positive testing the system "Messenger" in the Krasnoyarsk region. During the tests simulated the transmission of coordinate information and messages with vehicles, operated in areas not covered by terrestrial communication networks, as well as infomats and remote villages.
The exposition of JSC "Satellite System "Gonets" aroused interest among the participants of the forum, as one of the priority directions of development of the region is the implementation of innovative solutions, and creating it with the help of a "Messenger" unified information and communication space. The territory covered by GSM network is not more than 20%, so the use of vehicles mobile satellite communication is a real opportunity to provide information access any remote point within its territory.
The stand was visited by Vice-Premier of the Russian Federation Arkady Dvorkovich, Shuvalov and the Minister of communications of the Russian Federation N.. Nikiforov. They were presented the prospects of using the system "Messenger" in the region and in Russia as a whole.
