On MSRS «Loutch» spacecrafts payload there are also specialized consumer platforms, each of which operates separately from others and performs its tasks. Thus, 3 independent tasks are performed in MSRS «Loutch» spacecrafts coverage areas.
1. Relaying of Roshydromet weather forecast information from data collection platforms to data collection centers, which allows receiving operational meteorological monitoring data from remote locations not available for terrestrial communications.
2. Relaying of signals from automatic beacons to the data centers of the International Space Search and Rescue System «COSPAS-SARSAT», which allows monitoring of the system subscribers movement and, if necessary, receiving distress signals.
3. Relaying of signals from the differential correction and monitoring system (SDCM) from the ground-based complex of loading and monitoring to user terminals utilizing the GLONASS positioning-time data, which significantly increases the positioning accuracy for GLONASS users.
