JSC "Gonets Satellite System" took part in the implementation of the charity art project "Rocket", which was organized in late February – early March in Yekaterinburg by the Unity Cancer Patient Support Foundation. Within the framework of the project, meetings with test cosmonaut Sergei Kud-Sverchkov and master classes on art therapy for children and adults with cancer were held at the regional children's clinical hospital and at the Yekaterinburg Planetarium. Drawings of small Yekaterinburg residents created at these meetings will decorate one of the Roscosmos launch vehicles in 2025.

During the visit to Yekaterinburg, the Unity Foundation team also took part in the festival of light art "It's not Dark". A mock-up of the Marathon satellite was made especially for the festival, which was used in a light installation with children's drawings. Thanks to participation in the festival, more than 30 thousand Yekaterinburg residents were able to join the space charity project and learn more about satellites. Yekaterinburg is the 32nd city in the framework of the space art therapy direction, which the Unity Charitable Foundation has been implementing with the support of the Roscosmos State Corporation since 2017.

Pavel Cherenkov, General Director of the Gonets Satellite System JSC: "Our team took part in the implementation of the Raketa art project with great enthusiasm. We always try to support initiatives aimed at popularizing domestic space. And in this case, it is also an opportunity to support children and adults in a difficult life situation. We are glad that everything went according to plan, our Rocket entered the specified orbit and completed its flight mission."

Alyona Kuzmenko, President of the Unity Foundation: "As the organizers of the project, we believe that the Raketa art project continues to carry to our dear recipients a very important baggage of knowledge and emotions for them. Space is a dream, a bottomless topic for creativity, and an interesting applied field. All this is combined within the framework of the international charity art project "Rocket", which reveals new facets of life and experiences to children and adults. I would like to thank everyone who responds and makes the project possible."
