Representatives of JSC "Gonets Satellite System" (part of Roscosmos State Corporation) We have successfully tested the equipment of the Gonets satellite system on specialized SUVs participating in the preparation for the international Silk Road rally marathon "Russia-Mongolia-China 2024".
In November, specialists of "SS "Gonets" JSC paid a working visit to the KamAZ automobile plant in Naberezhnye Chelny and installed and tested the subscriber equipment of the Gonets system on specialized racing SUVs that lay and prepare the race track for the Silk Road rally raid. A significant part of the rally highway runs away from large settlements, and ground vehicles cannot provide stable communication there. To this end, it was decided to test the equipment of the Gonets low-orbit satellite system, which provides reliable transmission of data and coordinates of the location of objects in any geographical and weather conditions. The testing was attended by specialized specialists of JSC "Gonets Satellite System", as well as technical specialists of the Directorate of the Silk Road International Rally Project.
The equipment of the "Gonets" low-orbit satellite system has been transmitting data and monitoring the location of mobile and stationary objects in various industries for many years. Currently, the Gonets system is an excellent example of import substitution of foreign satellite operators and is installed on fishing vessels, logging equipment, and facilities of the electrical industry. Active work is underway to develop and implement digital solutions using the Gonets system for use in other sectors of the economy and everyday life.
