Multifunctional space relay system (MSRS) Loutch (operator - JSC "Satellite system "Gonets") successfully completed the task of communicaiton support for launch vehicle (LV) "Soyuz-2.1 a" from the Baikonur cosmodrome.

Today, July 14, 2017 at 9:36 Moscow time, the rocket "Soyuz-2.1 a" was successfully launched from Baikonur with the spacecraft remote sensing of the Earth "Canopus-b-IR" and a group of 72 small satellites on Board. Loutch MSRS relay normally performed eight sessions, which successfully and in full facilitated the transmission of telemetric and diagnostic information.

To complete the task was used the relay channels of the spacecraft "Luch-5B" (16 deg. W) and "Luch-5V" (95 deg. E). The subscriber relay equipment was installed in the upper stage "Fregat", Loutch MSRS from which transmitted telemetry information for the first time today.
